See Jan Louire's exhibit "Crisis in Wall Street: How a Home was Lost" at the Hart Library

JAN LOUIRE, Graphic Artist and Computer Scientist, will be exhibiting her showcase of artwork, “Triple Threat” at the John C. Hart Memorial Library on Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm; refreshments will be served. Show Title is “Crisis in Wall Street: how a home was lost." The parts of the Triple are: a clear description of what caused the recent financial collapse, a poem about the consequences of the collapse; and an eighteen image graphic exhibit with each line of the poem inscribed on one of the images

Each person attending the reception will receive a catalog that contains all three parts of the art show. Each of the parts addresses different parts of the viewer: the brain, the feelings and the eyes.

About Jan:

Jan holds IBM’s first software patent, “Graphical Design of Textiles”.

Her shows have been exhibited at Cooper Union, Southern Vermont Arts Center, New York Museum of Science, Tufts University, New York Public Library 58th Street Branch, National Arts Club.

Her permanent collections including her work are the Brooklyn Museum and the New York Historical Society.
