Lowe’s to Donate Thousands of Masks to Yorktown

05/07/20 - Officials from the Lowe’s home improvement store will donate thousands of KN95 masks to emergency responders in Yorktown on Friday morning.

Representatives from the Yorktown Police, the Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the Yorktown Heights volunteer fire department will receive the donation, estimated to have a $20,000 value. The KN95 masks are used to reduce the risk of coronavirus contagion when first responders are interacting with the public.
