RESOLUTIONS (to be passed Tuesday, October 8, 2013)

Engineering Department:
Authorize Supervisor to Sign Agreement with GHD for additional air emission compliance at the Yorktown Water Pollution Control Facility as required by NYSDEC regulations.

Bond & Fee Acceptance:

Application Fee Release:

Water Department:
Authorize reimbursement of $125.00 for homeowner of 1729 Summit Street towards the cost of repair for plumbing.

Library:
Resolution authorizing the bid for the renovation of the Children’s Room be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, Meyer Contracting Corp.

Parks and Recreation:

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission voted and approved the acceptance of the following donations offered by the Shrub Oak Athletic Club, Yorktown Athletic Club and the Yorktown Youth Soccer Club:

Greens Groomer Model 720SDE Brushes
Greens Groomer Model STR, Spring Tine Rake
2000 Club Car Golf Cart (Rebuilt & Customized 2008)
 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board accepts, with gratitude, the above described equipment.

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission voted and approved the use of Trust and Agency funds in the amount of $23,487.04, to be used over the next three (3) months to complete the following projects:

Sylvan Glen Paw Park:

  • Environmental Compliance Services, Inc. in the amount of $4,537.04
  • Fencing in an amount not to exceed $18,000.00

Hunterbrook Field Realignment:

  • Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan - $950.00

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes the expenditure of $23,487.04 from the Parks & Recreation Trust and Agency Fund to complete the above described projects.
