NYC DEP Catskill Aqueduct Repair and Rehabilitation Project

The NYC Department of Environmental Protection is undertaking several projects to support the connection of a new bypass tunnel to the Rondout-West Branch Tunnel, including the rehabilitation and repair of the Catskill Aqueduct to increase its capacity.  The Catskill Aqueduct Repair and Rehabilitation will involve the following activities:

• Site Access and Staging Area Improvements
• Chlorination and Dechlorination
• Leak Repair and Local Dechlorination
• Mechanical and Structural Repairs
• Biofilm Removal
