Hydrant Flushing - 11/03/22, Poplar St. Area

The Yorktown Consolidated Water District will be flushing fire hydrants between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. today on the following streets: Parts of Curry St, Parts of Ravencrest Rd, Poplar St, Forest Ct, Elk Ct, Sycamore Ln, Sheila Ct, Somerston Rd, Carol Ct, Sulin Ct, Flanders Dr, Weskora Rd and Weskora Ct.

Your water may be discolored during the hydrant flushing. Try to avoid doing laundry during this period. Upon completion, please flush your cold water line until clear should you experience discolored water.
