FLUSHING AREA 09/30/21

The Yorktown Water District will be flushing fire hydrants on the following streets today:

Hanover Rd., Harwood Pl., Summit St. Church St., Richard Pl., Paine St., Moseman Rd., Virginia Rd., Hudson Rd., Montross Rd., Edgewood St., Maxwell Rd. & Ct., Dorchester Dr., Chatham La., Wellington Ct., Kensington Ct. and Sidney Ct.

Please be advised that flushing may cause some discoloration of water. This does not represent a health hazard. However, customers are cautioned to determine if the water is clear before washing clothes (or any other processing) as staining may occur. If you experience discolored water run the cold water in all your faucets until it clears. Thank you for your cooperation.
